Hi

John Anderson was Dean of Guilds in Selkirk in 1799 (later a magistrate). He fathered a child with Joan Brunton (12th May 1799 was the date Joan confessed the sin of fornication).

Has anyone come across this child, as I can find no mention of a baptism, or anything else regarding the child. I know Joan was living in Yarrowford by 1811 (when she married a William Tait). Apart from that, nothing.
