Magnified a bit and I think the person sitting beside James has the cap badge of the Queen's Own (Royal West Kent) Regiment...

Quote
Queen's Own (Royal West Kent) Regiment.
I was just about to mention that so not William.
Any other candidates?
As they appear to be in the same hospital could he be a mate?

I was suspecting that the other person might also be a Moir relation....Him being in the royal west kent regiment...There is one possibility...sertvice number 8264, but I cannot view the record...
