What are you looking for?
They look like man and wife, seen together in the 1851 census at Bryn Mally Hall,Wrexham
HO107/2503/797/25

After James dies, his widow appears as Winifred in the 1861 and 1871 censuses. There is a probate grant under "Gwen Francis"of The Moss,Wrexham in 1876,also referring to her as Winifred.

Roger

1851, I have them  in Broughton with 4 children , no mention of Bryn Mally Hall on the page,  am I missing something ?

Looks like a complete mis-transcription on the database I used. The original page is,as you say,
Broughton, given as the birthplace of the 4 children.

Ok,  I`ve been sent a PM  about the MI`s, and there is a photo which is good.

Any thing else on Winifred / Gwen and James would be good, but as they were non conformist  it might be tricky.
