Can any one decipher the residence at time of marriage please.
Am I seeing Wilhiam Street? Really not sure

I'm sorry about this, but there's another William Street in Lambeth on the 1864 map - near the top edge, not far east of the river.
It seems it's now called Whitgift Street.

I'm sorry about this, but there's another William Street in Lambeth on the 1864 map - near the top edge, not far east of the river.

Another one off Regent Street in the top right where Distin Street is now.

How very confusing!
But at least there seems to be only one St John's Church - a fine looking building, and still there, despite wartime bomb damage, facing Waterloo Station.

By 1845 they were living at Lambeth Sq church St. John Waterloo Lambeth

Yes, perhaps I should have done.
I thought the issue may have been with 'shrink link' - I know it sometimes messes up.
