I am trying to find any info regarding a Jeremiah born in Co Cork abt 1817 ?
He married a Ellen Roche when I do not know>
They had a Daughter Ellen Linehan who married a Daniel Cahill who was born in Mallow, Co Cork.
Daniel Cahill parents were Daniel Cahill and Mary Pratt also born in Co Cork.
My Mother was a Cahill and her Father was John Cahill son of Daniel Cahill and Ellen Linehan.
I have some of the Victorian information, but not a lot of the Ireland info.
I do not know the name of Daniel Cahill and Mary Pratt parents.
So if anyone can help with any information that would be very much appreciated.

Possibilities here from Castletownroche RC parish, the address in both records indicated as Ballymacphilip townland:
- Jeremiah Linihan married Ellen Roche on 26 January 1850 (4th entry down from top):

... I do not know the name of Daniel Cahill and Mary Pratt parents.
As these are events that took place well before civil registration, you may struggle to conclusively further your research back in time, for example, there is no mention of parents in the Castletownroche RC parish record of the marriage of Daniel Cahill to Mary Pratt on 17 February 1833 - which isn't unusual (left page, 2nd entry down):

Hi Gaffy, Thank you for all that info and it was great to get. I am wondering if there is any information about where Daniel Cahill and Mary Pratt may have died? I have some info about some of there children who lived in Victoria,so I can assume that they came out here . I will check out who did come out here as I do not have that . Is this your family?. The death certificate for Ellen LINEHAN, died 1892, will ask for good information about her origins, marriage, arrival, children.....

Hi Wivenhoe, Thank you and yes they are part of our family on the Linehan/lenehan side. It is the Cahill side from Ireland that I am trying to find info on. Thanks for that info and will check it against what I do have in case there is something I do not have.
