Title: Stuart birth record

I am looking for a birth record for a Charlotte Stuart born between 1802-1805 in Inverness. I only have her details from a census record 1871 where she is living in Woolmer Cottages, Hammersmith, Middlesex.

I used St*art to cover Stuart/Stewart

Thank you for trying much appreciated. She became Charlotte Duncan which is shown on the census 1871 in Hammersmith. 😁

Was Stuart definitely her maiden name? Do you have her marriage certificate (if after 1837), or any children’s births?

Edited - found the 1871 entry which given her daughter’s age probably answers my questions 🙄

Thank you for searching for me its much appreciated. Marriage record says she was married on 21 July 1819 in Madras, India to William James Duncan her maiden name says Stuart.

I have no experience of Scottish records so can’t help sadly, but with that marriage date she would only have been 14 if born in 1805. Might be worth widening the birth search. Have you any other censuses or death certificate to help?

My search on SP was open i.e. no date inserted but nothing found.

I also done a search with no forename incase it was abbreviated/spelling variant etc.
