Please could someone kind check the details of the marriage between Joseph MAYO and Ann LADYMAN which took place at Middleton Stoney, Oxfordshire during 1798. I have a copy of the banns, which finished in early April 1798, but cannot locate the detail of the marriage.
Very many thanks in advance.

Hi jkgla,
This is taken from the original marriage register of Middleton Stoney;
Joseph Mayo, of the parish of Silvertsone and Ann Ladeyman, of this parish married in this church 30-4-1798 by E.R.Neve, Rector, both signed
wits; Wm. Greaves, Elizabeth Mayo, Richard Johnson.
Are you interestred in a copy?
Alan

Hi Richard,
Many thanks - that's brilliant! If it were easy to make a copy, that would be great. I'd be interested to know if there were other 'Mayo events' in Middleton Stoney as my Mayo ancestors suddenly appeared in Silverstone, Northants, and it would be fascinating to know where they came from. This marriage in Middleton Stoney may provide a link.
Many thanks for your trouble.

Hi jkgla,
I have found there are at least 2 other "Mayo's" marriages in MS;
Charles to Mary 4-6-1760
Charles " " 30-8-1757
in the register 1756 - 1803.
I'll send a PM
Alan
