Title: Sarah C Walton - death SALEM, NEW JERSEY 1887

Hi,
My 3x great-grandmother, Sarah C WALTON (née SCHOCH) was living at 26 1/2 Hedge St, Salem, New Jersey when she died on 22nd January 1887 - aged 75.

Her death certificate (which I have a copy of) states she was buried in the Baptist Cemetery, Salem.

Would anyone be able to tell me whether this cemetery still exists and how I might go about contacting them to see if they hold any further information.

It looks like it still exists.  This transcription was done in 2007, so not too long ago - http://www.interment.net/data/us/nj/salem/salem_bapt/index.htm  This picture looks fairly recent, too - https://www.findagrave.com/cemetery/641086/baptist-cemetery

This page gives a link to the Facebook page for the Memorial Baptist Church in Salem - http://www.standupforsalem.org/component/sobipro/155-memorial-baptist-church?Itemid=0  The Facebook page has an obit of someone being buried there in 2012, so maybe they're connected?

I have emailed the church and will now wait for a rep,y.
