Title: Marriage of John Jaques circa 1780

John Jaques married Elizabeth ? about 1780 probably Chithurst Sussex.
I would like to find Elizabeth's maiden name.
Earliest child found so far

Elizabeth 1782  at Chithurst
Sarah 1785 Terwick
Frances 1787 Chithurst
Edward 1790 Rogate
Richard 1794 Rogate
Lucy 1797 Rogate

Based on names in a will there is a son John as well.

It looks like the marriage as in Haslemere in Surrey 28 Dec 1779
John Jaques of East Meon Hampshire and Elizabeth Watts of that parish.
I can only see a index so no witnesses I'm afraid.
I'd guess John originally came from Rogate and was working in East Meon.

Wonderful, I have been trying for months to find the connection between the Watts and Jaques families. It took going three generations back.
