Title: Looking for answers, I have trying to delve into my family from Inverness
Post by: Punkin74 on Monday 24 September 18 18:59 BST (UK)
I have trying to delve into my family from Inverness, Scotland.
This is all I know, PLUS, the fact that my "Granddad" Henry Field Littlejohn was from there? I am guessing.

See I have NO family left on my DAD'S side. Even my DAD  :'( passed away 3 years ago.
For some reason he didn't give ANY history OR background to which I originated from.

CAN SOMEONE HELP ME!I feel alone! besides my younger sister we are all that is left of the littlejohn's

Do you have even vague dates for Henry’s life?  You say he was “from” Inverness - born there?  But where did he live the rest of his life?

Whom did he marry?

Where and when was your Dad born?

I now see that you have an old thread with considerably more information:

Better to answer the questions asked by those who tried to help you then, rather than starting again from scratch which will just invite duplication of effort.

I have added some information to the other thread which (if I am correct) suggests that the Littlejohn line was in North Carolina before 1800.

@ Punkin,  I think your best plan is to join the Highland Family History Society which is Inverness based!
