Title: Looking for John Horan born Liverpool c 1879

John Horan and wife Mary (Stansfield) married in Morecambe Lancashire in 1908. The family lived at 218 Crown Lane Horwich in 1911. John b 1880 Liverpool son in law of Charles Stansfield. Wife Mary born 1885 Newton Heath, child Evelyn Horan born 1910 Morecambe. The 1939 Electoral register shows address Gordon Road Fleetwood. Date of birth 31st March 1879. I can't find John Horan on any census record before 1911.

Can anyone help please

He’s a boot repairer on the 1911, may assist with finding him on earlier censuses:

In 1891 there is a John Horan  -Scholar bn Liverpool -age 13
RG12/2983 f152 p3 - Truants Undustrial School, Hightown, Liverpool

Possibly the same child in 1881 with mother Ann & siblings

This could be a marriage with Horan transcribed wrong..

If it is the correct census, she was born in 1851, so unlikely to have been married in 1861.
