I have been looking for Daniel Mellin who was born 1918 at Seven Sisters Neath Glamorgan. on freebmd I found Daniel mellin m Madge Wilson in Basford Nottingham 1942 and a death for Daniel 1946 age 28yrs I wonder if anyone has access to the original records to see if this is My Daniel Mellin thank you so much any help would be appreciated Margaretx

Birth registered Dec qtr 1918 Neath vol 11a p1764 MELLIN Daniel mmn BROWN.
Unless you get lucky finding a baptism naming his parents the only way might be to order the certificates to see if the father's names match.
Daniel seems to be the eldest of seven MELLIN mmn BROWN children born in Neath up to 1930, but I couldn't see baptisms on FamilySearch, or a MELLIN-BROWN marriage on FreeBMD.

The Daniel Mellin that died in 1946 was of 5 Newton Drive, Stapleford occ Coal Miner. He was knocked from his cycle. His father in law was William Wilson of 3 Albert Street, Stapleford

Judging by 1939 for Daniel snr, and one of the children named there who also has mmn Brown. this is the marriage (Daniel's second)

Mary was also married previously - this chap is with the Mellin family in 1939.

Thank you all for your replies, I have all the information on this family in the Neath area but couldn`t find Daniel born 1918 after 1911 then as I said found this information on freebmd Marriage and death,I have tried the 1939 but I will try and follow ROSSIE99information now and see If I can trace him ,,,many many thanks to you all Margaretx
