Hi can anyone read this baptism record for Frances or Francis Ryan?
I need all the information including parents names and sponsors please.
Thanks
-
What year is it?
-
1832
-
Before Civil Reg...
.
.
.
-
Constantine Prendergast + Cath Gannon
?
-
could be ? what about the parents? also I included the baptism above which I think says son of. So does this say Da of as in Daughter?
-
Don't see son of anywhere!
-
Difficult to be sure without seeing more of the page or knowing the details to check for ourselves but perhaps the line above refers to Sponsor rather than Son of?
-
Which parish?
It looks like Patt Patt and Bridget Roan, but that doesn't make sense.
-
Ah the first Pat is short for Parents
so Francis of Patrick Ryan and Bridget Roan not sure about the mother's surname.

Rowan this time so Roan would make sense.
-
I have loaded the writing hope someone can make sense of it.
-
All variations of Rowan I'd say.
-
Yes it does seem that way which makes it hard to find the wedding!
-
Might have married in another Parish!
-
There's a Mary Ryan of Patrick Ryan and Bridget Roan in Roscrea in 1818.
On the original post, it looks like Francis to me.

Thanks Dublin I will check it out!
