Title: Attendent in Lunatic Asylum
Post by: harrygeorge1 on Saturday 13 October 18 16:38 BST (UK)
I have just received a birth certificate and in the Name, Surname and Maiden Name of Mother it says, Clara French an attendant in lunatic asylum. Does this mean she worked in the Asylum or an inmate? The birth was in Grantham 1893. Thanks in advance.
