I am looking for a William Johnson Wilkinson who married Rhoda Jefferson in Shildon, Durham in 1884.
On Family Search i found a William F Wilkinson living in Simpson Street Shildon Durham with wife Rhoda and 5 yr old son John F Wilkinson. Page Number:38 Registration Number: RG12
Piece/Folio: 4071/ 22
Can anyone check and see if William F should be William J.
I don't want to go to far if this is not my Family.

On the image is does looks ambiguous and doesn't look like the middle F initial for his son. Tried to add an image but no option on this thread for some reason??

Found the answer myself. Checked GRO for child John F with Mothers name Jefferson he is John Frederick. Also checked 1901 and it is correct as it came up as William Johnson Wilkinson.
Thanks for your help. I am on the right track. Off to look at the 1901.

Looking on Ancestry I would say it is a J not an F .

I would say J.
It resembles the J which starts John and Jane further down the page.
