Title: Waiting for a post to be approved/don't know if I did it correctly :/
Post by: Cariad.bach on Thursday 18 October 18 15:24 BST (UK)
Hi, I tried to post a portrait painting in the dating photographs forum on Tuesday evening. It said it would need a moderators approval, but I still can't see it, so now I'm unsure if I posted it correctly (been a few years since I used the forum), or whether it wasn't allowed as not a photo, or whether I'm just being over keen! Is this an average time to wait?

Thank you :)

All photos posted on the dating forum have to be approved by the moderator first for copyright reasons.

You shouldn't have to wait very long  :)

Thanks Jen :)
I wasn't sure if it was because it was a painting rather than a photo (it is an original and has been passed onto me by my Taid).

Hello Cariad.bach

I am sorry but I have seen no posts from you on a painting, Please try again. The posts waiting checking are done frequently during the day.

Sarah

Thanks Sarah, urgh I was hoping that wouldn't be the case, took me ages to try and write the history in a way that made sense! I must've done it wrong :(
I'll try again later, thanks for letting me know.

When you post with an attachment, make sure that you do not preview the post it is much better to just post it and if you have made any errors you can modify it. If I am doing a log reply I normally do a copy in word just incase I make an error and loose it ;)
