Civil Reg Birth, Marriage and Death results for Brennan of Ballinasloe from 1864 to 1899
http://www.rootschat.com/links/01mvq/
You can search Births.... then Marriages for any that stayed.
-
You're better of studying them yourself, then you learn how to amend search for children of any that Married....and even Marriages for next generation up to mid 1900's at your leisure.
-
Hello,
Is this your family? There is a Patrick but siblings are brothers not sisters :-\

If so then 1 brother Married after 1901 so amend Civil Reg search to Marriages 1901 to 1911
-
As you see father died between census so just amend search accordingly..... etc
-
As an aside - strange that on 1911 census found by hallmark that John Brennan made his mark [witnessed by enumerator] but states he can read & write ???
-
Familysearch shows 4 daughters to this couple, including an Ellen (Brennan) Ross who died in New York City, also Bridget, Mary, and Margaret:

One you see how easy it is you can then look for Marriage of john brennan and Margaret larkin.... get their fathers and addresses etc.

I've sifted through a lot more than 28. Plus you can eliminate a lot by place of origin, e.g, he's not the one from Donegal.

1906 to Mrs Ross, 230 E 54th Street

that narrowed it down pretty quick :)

There is no mention of sister Ellen by kiffagh.
There is an Ellen b 1868, of Kiltormer West, with parents Patrick and Margaret but she is Hardiman.

thank you for every one for all their help
-
It’s a pleasure.
Is it the right family - those brothers and no sister Ellen mentioned by you?
Also different travel years. :-\
-
it is the right family , Patrick's brothers stayed in galway and so i have to find where Patrick went
-
Yes, you know he was single on Census so that would be your starting point to look for Marriage or Death.
So amend the search criteria accordingly.
-
Thank you.
You have some leads there perhaps with Ellen.
If you think he definitely stayed in US, you could post on US board.
There are several P Bs in US censuses but there might be other information re naturalisation/marriage etc.
There may be an obituary for Ellen which could mention her brother.
-
If he went to USA then probably nothing else for him in Ireland!
-
US thread.....
