Hello,


My family always said that there was someone in our family who immigrate to Africa . I‘m not sure if it’s Africa could be America or other countries.

His name was Reinhold Pauly born 1893 in Dambach, Rhineland-Palatinate,Germany . Are there any immigration records for a man with the surname Pauly? Or is he listed somewhere ?

FamilySearch has a Reinhold Pohl, born 1894, on the 1940 US Census?

I have taken a brief look here but there seems to be various spellings of the name Pauly.

@KGarrad Thank you but i‘m not sure if he’s the right one because Pohl is very different to Pauly but the birth year fits

@Schoch Pauls is also a good possibility

Are there only passenger lists for the United States or also for African Countries ?
