Hello. Mary Patricia Wake was born in NZ, most likely at Rotorua, on 24th May 1924. Her mother was Agnes Veronica Wake, born in England in 1900 who emigrated in c1922. The father of Mary is unknown but may have been a young man from a well-to-do family. Agnes and Mary went to New South Wales in 1925, where Agnes married Frederick Shields. Does anyone have any information?

Yes, that is Agnes arriving in 1922. What happened after that is more mysterious!

You say the birth was "most likely in Rotorua"  does that mean you don't have the birth certificate?

Hi Andrew,

As this is the second time you have requested this information what is it that you are actually after?

You say"Does anyone have any information?" this was covered in the 2013 request.
As it has been said purchasing the birth"printout" will be the nearest you are going to get to maybe finding out who gthe father is if indeed he is named.
