Morning, I am trying to trace the death of Albert Edward Schofield, he lived at 50 Kenior Road, Wandsworth, London, England, age 80 when his wife Edith passed away in 1965, I am unable to find any trace of his death, he is my great uncle, can anyone help please.

His birth date and the date his wife passed would be useful.

He was born in 1885, camberwell, London, his wife died. His wife died 2 April 1965, Wandsworth. Her son Herbert Froud reported it.

Free search of 1939 with this date of birth brings up an Albert E in Wandsworth

will sent for death certificate from Wincanton, why he was there who knows, would explain why he did not register his wife death, many thanks, Mary

Perhaps he moved there after his wife died.  Alternatively he could just have been visiting someone. Deaths are registered in the area where someone died which is not necessarily where they were living.
