Title: "New"tag not showing

I've just noticed that when starting a new topic, the "NEW" tag does not appear in the subject header of my posts.
Not of great importance but just puzzled!

Do you mean that it doesn't show tagged as 'new' on the home page listing?

It's not showing as 'new' to you because you started it and have, therefore, already read it!

To everyone else it will appear as 'new' until they've also read it.

Don't worry if you think it is a daft post, don't suppose anyone else did, sometimes things don't register till it is pointed out, don't worry, enjoy the rest of your day

It was a very good question, not daft in any way.

Incidentally too, if you are not logged in the 'new' thing doesn't appear either.
