Does anyone have access to the 1841 Census for Pulloxhill?  I am looking for a William Varse and his wife Ann.

Pulloxhill
Thomas Vass 25 labourer
Charlotte Vass 20
Both born in Bedfordshire

Peter Vass 26 labourer
Ann Vass 25
William Vass 3
Henry Vass 5 mths
All born in Beds

These were the only Vass/Varse names that I could see in Pulloxhill

Do you have any more details about them eg likely age in 1841, birthplace, any children etc. The more information you give the easier it makes a look up and increases your likelihood of a result.

On the NBI there's an Ann Varse age 72  buried in Pulloxhill on 25 Feb 1844, but I don't know where she was at census time.

Many thanks David.  Peter and Thomas are two of their sons.  You have the correct Ann Varse who died Pulloxhill 1844.  I had assumed they were living there in 1841.
