Title: Potentially helpful new feature myheritageDNA
Post by: sugarfizzle on Thursday 08 November 18 18:00 GMT (UK)
myheritageDNA have added a map feature to their match pages.

No good if your match hasn't got a tree, but shows your ancestor's birthplaces in light grey, their ancestor's birthplaces in dark grey, and joint birthplaces in purple.

Potentially more helpful than previous place matching there, which only gave the country rather than the town.

I still haven't got many matches there, but I think their tools are probably the best of all the DNA sites.

It's very similar to the  Ancestry one. Do you think they're all trying to woo us with identical features?

I wish Ancestry would add a few of My Heritage facilities.
