I changed my password on Facebook and now I can`t log in. I have tried to change it again but the email with the code never arrives.
I`ve tried over the last 12 hours with no joy.
If I make a new account do I lose all my friends and photos from the original account.
I can`t understand why the password won`t work. Can`t even find how to contact Facebook for help.
Any help please.

If you are on BTInternet (for example), BTInternet are blocking all sorts of password reset emails.
So, unfortunately you would not be able to reset your Facebook password in that case.

I did change it but now it wont accept it, and all variations are rejected, just in case I made a mistake.
I changed other passwords for various sites, and got emails from all, it`s just FB.
They say enter the code, but where is it ??
I`m worried if I try too many times I will be blocked.

Have you checked your spam/trash folders to see if there's an e-mail with the code there.

Yes, nothing there or in any other email , I`m getting all these on the rest page. FB has no where to ask for help as far as I can see.

I apologise if you've already checked but just wondered if you are looking in the correct e-mail address for your Facebook account.
I know you have at least a couple so just a thought.

Last thought - have you tried with your old password?

That was the problem, you have to have same password for each FB, webpage and app. After using the original, it finally got the picture and sent me a code. I've left it as it was, too much bother to try again on both. I only have one email address. Computers ::)

That is ONE of the dangers of Facebook!!

Are you sure because I've had e-mails from you from 2 different e-mail addresses :-\
Added - maybe one was from the olden days.
