I'm not sure if this is beyond help, but a photograph from the late 1890s of stone masons at work in Alton, Staffordshire.
Anyone fancy a crack at restoring it?
TIA

Hi aitch,
Is it possible to get a better scan, your image is very small ?

Here's my offering. It looks like there are 3 people on the right. a man with a hat, a slightly shorter woman with long hair and a child with a hat similar to the one across from them. My two cents. Hope you enjoy the photo.

Huge thanks to Tony, japeflakes & DrDude45 for taking on the photo with such great results :) Love how the figures have loomed out of the fog!
Sarah - my photo of the original photograph is a huge file size and I've yet to figure out how to get it down to under the kb limit to post without losing quality (I'm about to google!!)
Many thanks to you all for your time and patience!

Hi Aitch...there is a tutorial at the top of the board that will help you to get the file size below the recommended 500kbs.
Good Luck.
