Hi all. Researching Murphy family in Kinneigh. Fairly certain my g,g,g grandmother was one Nelly Corcoran, married to Ned (Edward/ Edmond) Murphy. They had at least 6 children, Pat, Margaret, Jno(?), Edmond, Con and one other unknown.
Grateful for any connection, or indeed explanation of what Jno is short for.
Diolch/ thanks.

There are 14099 Murphys on 1911 Census.
As no one has any idea what age one of yours were in 1911 it is difficult.
If you go to http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/search/ and put one of them and age you can look for them.

Thanks to everyone! I have been working on the assumption that Ned Murphy and Nell Corcoran are my great, great, great grandparents and their daughter, Margaret Murphy married in Swansea in 1850.
Thanks again. Keith
