Hi
I am just starting out trying to find ancestors. I've gotten as far as my great grandfather, James Stewart 1841-1921 m. Margaret Trowsdale 1861-1945 children Fred, Eliza, Elmira, Isaac, Maude.
The only info I have of my great-great grandfather Alexander Stewart 1808-1886 m. Isabella and had 6 children James, Daniel Don, John, Jane, Margaret, Jessie.
I would love to find more information and go even further back to when these Stewarts came over from Scotland.

Thank you all for researching for me. I have information on James Stewart 1941-1921 and Margaret (Trowsdale) 1861-1945. I am trying to go back one more generation (more if possible). The info I have on their parents are:
Alexander Stewart 1808-10/12/1886 where he was born, died, buried. I would like more info on his wife Isabella. They together would have had James (mentioned above).
Also, I would like info on Margaret Trowsdales 1861-1945 mother Phoebe Wilson 3/17/1841-1906.

Where did you get the information on Alexander's dates, and do you have him in any censuses or other documents?

I am so sorry if these images keep getting loaded up. I cant see them so I keep trying again.
This is what I have found so far....

I'm sorry if these files are giant. I am using a new tablet and cant figure out how to make them smaller.
So this info was found on a page called rootsweb.com. I signed up and tried to reply to these posts, but I think the forum is too old. I believe I must be related to the people that wrote these messages. They seem to all have info that I have not seem anywhere else.

Have you waited a few weeks for a reply - in case the poster does not check the site very often?
Unfortunately he does not state where his information comes from.
It looks very promising, and seems to be the way to go.
