Parish register here, second entry
https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:S3HT-6MC8-Y5?i=278&cat=244517

I agree, name looks like Iton.
Both of this parish.
But the date looks like Sep 23 (it also seems to be between entries for October and November?)

Sussex Marriage Index has
Wm Streaton + Eliz Iten, 23 Sep 1686, Willingdon

John Iton's will names Stretton grandchildren, the children of Elizabeth Stretton.
Also some great grandchildren!

Beloved daughter Elizabeth Stretton named as sole executrix.

There's also a longish will of William Stretton (Streetton), carpenter of Willingdon, the husband of Elizabeth.
