I am looking for information on a George Henry Follett born 1870 Walsall Staffordshire , He married Emily Williams on 18 Oct 1888 at Walsall . They had one daughter Jane Born 1883 . It his death that I'm not sure about . I 'm not sure if he moved to Doncaster . Any information would be helpful . Thank you

On her 11 November 1888 marriage at Caldmore, Walsall, Emily’s father was named as Alfred Williams, commercial traveller. Emily was 21, a spinster of Windmill St.
Witnesses: William Horton; Annie Horton.

Yes so would I . I wish i had started this family tree when my mum was living she might have been able to fill me in .I know very little about her family , my grandparents on my mums side both died young .

Thank you you have solved George Follett for me . His name is on the war plaque at Woodlands Church Doncaster . I have asked my relations if the knew who the George Follett was but no one knew . My mum told me years ago when we were at a wedding there he was a relation but i couldn't remember who it was . Thank you

Hi , Thank you I did know Fanny we used to vist regular at South Street Highfields Doncaster . I'll have to message Hazel joynes Hazel is fanny's granddaughter now Maloney. I'll ask to see if she knows anything about Emily .

I wonder if that's who my mum was brought up with . Emily Bennett and George Bennett when Jane Follett remarried to a John C Gilson in 1928 ,Emily and George were brought up by someone else who they called grandma . I do know Jane was not a well lady . This is what i was told by my late mother

I did looked at the earlier as i didn't know where it was . I seem to think her first husband was also called George but I could be wrong . Shame about the father .
