Title: Donnelly
Post by: JCowan1996 on Thursday 22 November 18 20:17 GMT (UK)
Aloha everyone, Jade here :)

I'm currently researching my family history for my great grandmother as this thing has always interested her.
I have managed to trace my family tree quite far back but have become muddled.

I have a Patrick Donnelly Born 1829 and died in 1917. He was baptised on the 6th December 1829 in Dublin and married Catherine O'brien in 1850/1856. They then according to Ancestry emigrated to Minnesotta and had a few children. I have no information on his father or mother apart from the names William and Ellen.
If anyone has anything that can help, thank you.

You have a date of Baptism, have you seen this baptism, it will have his parents.
Where did he marry Catherine O'Brien?
What does 'according to Ancestry' mean?

Hello,

Where do you definitely have Patrick and Catherine?
There are several baptisms around that time so what leads you to that one? You say he was baptised Dublin but your screenshot mentions Wexford.
There are some published  trees with conflicting information re Ireland/Minnesota/Scotland.
