Title: Janet Taylor died 15th april 1908 Hebden Bridge Yorkshire

Can anybody please help?
When Janet Taylor died her death certificate shows she was aged 71, the widow of John Taylor a stonemason. On the 1901 census for Hebden Bridge she was living with her daughter Jessie (maiden name Hardy) and son-in-law Arthur Cockcroft. Her place of birth is recorded as Berwick-upon-Tweed in 1837. I am unable to find her anywhere else in the census record nor a marriage to John Taylor. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

She may have had more than one husband so be under a different surname to daughters maiden name.

I would try and trace Jessie Hardy backwards to find her again with her mother - maybe even Scotland.

Age for Jessie at marriage doesn't match but

Jessie Hardy birth Dec 1862 Manchester mothers maiden name Bremner

We know from the marriage her father was George Hardy so maybe he can be found on census with wife and child.

1891 census states b Scotland on index.

Father’s name not George though  ???
