Title: James Noel Francis - Guardsman

 I Hope someone can help me, I am carrying out some family research in behalf of a friend.  She tells me that a relative on her mother’s side served during WW2 with a Guards Regiment possibly either the Coldstream or Grenadier Guards.  All I have is James Noel Francis DOB: jan 1913 Grimsby. I am sorry for the lack of detail.  It is a long shot.

At one time they lived at 299 Weelsby Street Grimsby Maria was born c.1885 ? Yorkshire

Agatha Georgina Francis married 1923 Grimsby to James J Armstrong

1939 index has them living in Pewsey Wiltshire
dates of birth Agatha 20/3/1906 James 25/11/1901

James was a car fitter and motor engineer

Mary Amanda died 1918 aged 6

Looks like Maria born 8/8/1885 is a mental patient at the Kesteven County Asylum Lincs. (Widow) in 1939 index
