This is a possibility
Ancestry has it indexed as HD Kerrison but it does look more like WP comparing the other letters
It also has "Race (specifying country)" as Ireland  :-\
Not sure what FM States means

Minderoo from Singapore via Java to Fremantle arrived Jan 1927
Mr WP Kerrison Storekeeper 32yo Single
Last res. FM States
Race = Ireland
Intended future residence West Aust

Kerrison   William   Male               Perth   301   1935
This is his death entry from https://bdm.justice.wa.gov.au/_apps/pioneersindex/
The lack of basic information i.e. age suggests he was not married  or at least known to others.
So perhaps not married although marriages on the same website do go to 1936.

Penang  ... Straits Settlements
... FMS according to google 1895 to 1946  so that makes good sense ... to me,  stamp collecting as a child ... finally helped with family history enquiry  :P
