Title: What does A, C and I mean on a 1939 UK Outbound Passenger List?

I have a record for someone travelling to the US from Poland via the UK in 1939.  Under the Name of Passenger section on the Outward Passengers from the UK, there are headings for A, C and I.  Under the A all the page have 1, all have nothing under the other two headings.  What does the A, C and I stand for? They were all travelling First Class.

Just guessing - Adult, Child, Infant?

It may help if you tell us who you are looking at and more information as to when they sailed so we can possibly view the record ourselves.

Adult, Child or Infant makes sense. 

It was on Ancestry.co.uk I was searching for Margaret Godfrey bc1899 Date of Departure was 17 March 1939.
