Hi, after some help on here from rootschat I located the attached prison record for my great uncle Thomas Entwistle (now deceased) at Wakefield prison. The detail is a little less than I'd hoped so I was wondering if any local newspaper records exist for the case?

Do you mean Brian Thomas Entwistle b 2.1.1934 d 1988 Bradford?

Hi CaroleW,

he was born Thomas Brian Entwistle in Oldham on 02.01.1934 and changed his name after his release from prison to Brian Thomas Entwistle (I don't know if the change was official but his death certificate has him registered as Brian Thomas and another of my great Uncles as witness to the death). He died in Bradford at the infirmary on 30.12.1987.
