Welcome to RootsChat, Bambi1st  :) :)

Can you please give us a little more information about these children - names and an indication of when they were born would be of help.  ;)

My grandparents were called Florence Emma Ward and Ronald Thomas Ward ,they had the twin boys sometime during the 1940s I think but before 1934 ,the boys died when they were babies I think after a few days but am not sure of thee dates and were buried in a churchyard there in Tyneham,I know my grandparents went on to have a son Albert in 1934 I think and a girl Barbara in 1936 ,I know my grandad had a small holding near the train station as he often had to remove any dead cows from the track, if there are any other pieces of information you need I will try to find it , thank you .

I think you will be able to find out this information yourself Bambi1st from

This appears to be the marriage:
Marriages Sep 1932
Johnson    Irene    Winter    Medway    2a   2534
Slucock    Florence E    Ward    Medway    2a   2534
Ward    Ronald T    Slucock    Medway    2a   2534

Winter    William C    Johnson    Medway    2a   2534

so if you look on https://www.freebmd.org.uk [a free site] for 'Births' of Wards with mother's maiden name of Slucock between the dates you mention you should find the twins [who will probably have the same birth reference as they will be recorded on the same page. Once you have the names, you can look for their deaths; an age of 0 in these indexes means under 1 year old.

Edward W and Ronald T Ward registered June quarter 1933 in Faversham Registration District.  Ronald T death recorded the same quarter.  There is no registration for Edward W in Faversham, but there is a registration for Edward W in September quarter 1933 in Canterbury Registration District.

On the 1939 Register, they were in Rochester but we are not supposed to give the details.

If you go to Google maps, enter the post code ME1 2DD and then use Street View, you can see the house. It is no 27, the one with grey rendering and green painted stonework with a red car outside.

As I stated on previous post .
They must have left Teynham  for Rochester soon after Barbara  was born. Ronald had secured a job on the Railway as a Permanent Way Heavy Gang Worker. (maintaining the tracks and track bed ,which is known as the Permanent Way) .The depot was at Rochester for our area.
By 1939 he had been promoted to Ganger (Charge Hand Or Foreman)which suggests he had been in the job for some time.

He eventually ended up working in the dockyard but sady his wife died when his children were still young and Ronalds sisters decided it was best to put Barbara in a girls home called Charlotte Sharman in London or the outskirts of it, a really lovely place by what my mother told me  ,he kept his son Albert with him ,Albert died last year and Barbara my mother died in 2011, Its so good to know about the family, all that are left are the children of Barbara and Albertv,my mother had twins my brother and sister and Alberts granddaughter is about to have her twins a boy and girl .
