Hi All,
Hope all readers had an enjoyable xmas.
I'm trying to fill in some missing info regarding a marriage of Albert Belcher to Elizabeth (Allcock??)
about 1866 possibly in Oxfordshire.
Iv'e tried Ancy, FreeBMD, F/Search without any success.
I have Elizabeth in the 1861 census for St.Ebbe, Oxford and again in the 1871 this time with Albert Belcher, Eliza, & 2 dtrs.
Going backwards Elizabeth's parents came from Derbyshire, (father is John Allcock, mother Lydia and siblings) with the later children all born in St.Ebbe, Oxon.
In the 1881 she is with Albert and her father John Allcock born Derby and 5 children.
Can anyone please find a marriage for Albert Belcher to Elizabeth Alcock about 1866. He was born in Berks and spent most of his time in Oxon where his children were born (either St.Barnabas or St.Ebbe).
Iv'e tried all variations of names even just using surnames and each time have drawn a blank.
Any help most appreciated.

Male Belcher, mother’s maiden name Allcock, Mar qtr 1867 Oxford (died same quarter)
Female Belcher, mother’s maiden name Allcock, Mar qtr 1868 Oxford (died same quarter)
Elizabeth Belcher, mother’s maiden name Allcock, Sep qtr 1869 Oxford
Adelaide Mary Belcher, mother’s maiden name Allcock, Jun qtr 1872 Oxford
Albert Edward Belcher, mother’s maiden name Allcock, Sep qtr 1874 Oxford
Andrew William Belcher, mother’s maiden name Allcock, Jun qtr 1875 Oxford (died same quarter)
Henry William Belcher, mother’s maiden name Allcock, Dec qtr 1878 Oxford
Perhaps parenthood took this young couple by surprise and they didn’t make it up the aisle.

avm228 - could I ask where you were able to get all the births ( & deaths) from, please?
In the 1911 census they say they have been married 44 years and had 9 children of whom 4 were still alive.
So far I have found 5.
Perhaps they never married as you say, but i'm inclind to the view that the names have been mistranscribed which is why they don't show up in the GRO searches.

All the births & deaths are from the GRO Online (free to search). My list accounts for 8 children.
