Hi everyone, trying to find information on my relative.
John Robert Carson (born Nov 20 1904)
So far I've found that William Tinning (Feb 25 1861 - Sept 20 1898) was born in Carlisle, Cumberland, England and Married Mary Frith(Born Dec 19 1866) in December 1885. They had 4 kids Mary Ester(Jan 23 1888), Mildred(Jun 7 1890), Margaret(Mar 4 1892) and James A(Feb 27 1897).
At some point the family moved to Winnipeg, Manitoba where they lived at 429 Sutherland Avenue. William Tinning dies in 1898 and September 23rd 1899 Mary Tinning marries Robert Carson and remain at the same address. Robert and Mary have 3 children, Martha Myrtle(April 7 1900), John Robert(Nov 20 1904), and Robert(Nov 21 1905)
This is where I'm lost. I believe that John Robert Carson may have moved to British Columbia, Canada and possibly changed his name.
Any information is very much appreciated and thank you to everyone in advance.

Mildred's obit from 1977 has a lot of information about her. Not sure if you need it or not. As far as siblings go...it says she is predeceased by one brother (who isn't named in the obit), and three sisters. Survived by one half brother, Robert Carson of Kamploops BC.

Still no luck with John Robert Carson RK - Those obits never named him !!
Perhaps the poster will reply to the question asked in reply 1 ? When was your last sighting of John Robert Carson ?
Sandra
-
The last time we can see John Robert Carson show up was in Manitoba in 1911.
Although I may have found a death certificate. Joseph Robert Carson died in Powell River, BC but the death certificate has clearly been poorly transcribed. I think this may be him.
-
Interesting. Just wondered if we might get a thank you for all the research done so far.
There was a Robert Carson of Smithers BC - birth noted as 21 Nov 1905 (1 day different) Winnipeg - who passed away 24 April 1979.
Smithers was mentioned in reply 10 in the obit of Sarah Jane Houde)

Yes of course, Thanks so much for any and all help provided by anyone on here.
Yes I believe this is John Roberts brother, Robert who died in smithers. Both were loggers.
