Title: outward bound convict from Bermuda
Post by: kishtu on Wednesday 09 January 19 00:35 GMT (UK)
Hi all
I have been researching a James Mitchell from Scotland, who ended up in Australia 1863 as a convict.
Before he was transported to Western Australia, he had been previously convicted of theft and breaking and entering, he was convicted and transported to Bermuda on the Castle Eden, in 1854-5 and was received on the Medway hulk.  I then found him again convicted after this in 1861 where he was ultimately transported to Western Australia in 1863.

What I am trying to find is a ships list that he may have been on when he returned to England/Scotland after doing his time in Bermuda as they had to find and pay their own way.
TIA
Kim
