Haven't you checked GRO online to establish the mothers maiden name so you know which child belongs to which parents?

Many thanks to one and all for looking / trying to help with my post. This post, I thinking, results from you all, any findings I would welcome, appreciate. I'm not really sure the result's would be in telling me anymore than what I already know. Just having my own findings confirmed on the family name's would be at least helpful.

Louis and Maria have mmn = Roberts, plus there is an entry for Arthur in 1852. Alice has Nicholson. No sign of George in 1851 - nor his there an entry for him on FreeBMD.

These were name's that I had just scribbled down some time ago and have only rediscovered. George Wentzell b 1851 is on freebmd as Wentzel, with one l only. I cannot find anymore on him, no Census, no marriage, no death info., he just seems to disappear altogether. I was expecting Louis & Alice to have been twins, being born in the same Qtr of 1850, and the same area LAMBETH,???

1850 - Alice shown on page 284, and Louis on page 255, so definitely not twins.
I can see a George Wentzell, mmn = Roberts - March quarter 1846 in Greenwich Registration District. :-\ Not sure why I can't see any Wentzel birth registrations.

Obviously Cousins being born in the same Qtr.
George Wentzell birth year should be b Dec Qtr 1841 not 1851.Sorry about that.

So with this we have two GEORGE WENTZELL's born five years apart, with the same family, seem's strange cannot find death certificate / detail' s. My only assumption can be that both have died before the next census , 1851 was taken.

Mistranscription have alway's been a problem with me with the Wentzell name.
Can only expect the same thing's happened with the 1841.
There was me thinking that the Wentzell name should not to to much of a
problem when I first started my research. I'm sure it's contributed a lot to do
with me not having much hair left these days.
