Can anyone tell me is there anyway of finding out who was living at a address in 1980 in Brighton East Susses thankyou

The British Library in London may also hold them  :)

I see from an earlier post of yours that you are located in Australia.  It may be an idea to add this information to your profile then we won't suggest places that you have to visit in England  ;D

Have you considered posting the address and asking someone to look it up for you

If you post the address, I can check at the British Library on one of my almost weekly visits.

The registers are stored off-site and take 2 days notice to be available, but if you post the address sooner rather than later, I should be able to do this within the next 2 weeks.

Thanks for the replys the address I was checking is 170 Springfield Road Brighton gr grandma was living there when she died in 1980 we are trying to work out when she returned to England & if she ended up back with her x hubby her name Ivy Carter his name Ernest Carter thankyou
