BIRTH:
1917/8192 Davis Donald Alexander Clara Isabel Henry
The following children are known to be the issue of 'my' Henry DAVIS & Clara Isabel nee Paynter, married in 1904.
1905/16090 Davis Robert Henry Clara Isabel Henry-
1905/16092 Davis William Douglas Clara Isabel Henry-
[twins, William Douglas died in 1918]
1907/15327 Davis Isla Ethel Agnes Clara Henry-
1911/22648 Davis Patience Fay Clara Henry
1908/7581 Davis Herbert Carlisle Clara Isabel Henry
When Henry Davis died in 1941, his death registration shows he left living issue of two sons, aged 36 & 33; two daughters aged 34 & 28 years.
When his widow died in 1953 aged 72 years, her probated will mentions all of the above but not Donald Alexander.
I cannot find a death for Donald Alexander DAVIS, born 1917.
Does he belong to the above family?

Looks like he was a casualty of WW2

If Henry died after 23 May then Donald would not be a surviving son.

Ian, thank you! He is definitely mine. The family was from Wanganui and Henry died in August 1941.
A very good result. :)

From the information provided by Ian C., although very young, this may be the marriage of Donald Alexander:
