I am searching for the Rev Samuel Dunlop who was minister of Ramoan from 1724-1733 and then went to the province of Connaght in 1737
He was attached to a Presbyterian congregation in 'Minulla' and was recommended by John Brown, Esq of Ralbin.
Cannot locate these placenames so need help!
SYNOD OF ULSTER
AT ANTRIM, JUNE 21st 1737
A letter from Jno Brown Esq. of Ralbin in Connaught directed to this Synod was now read. Mr Sam Dunlop, late member of Coleraine presbytery being mentioned in ye same and now present, was called and questioned about ye manner of his fixing himself at Minulla without ye concurrence and direction of the presby to which he belong'd, and from which he had not any credentials. He offered several reasons for his conduct too long to be inserted here. Mr Brown's letter speaks very well of Mr Dunlop's behaviour and diligence and desires we may allow him the R.D. detain'd from him.
The Brethren, in consideration of Mr Brown's character of Mr Dunlop, his own circumstances & of ye place where he now resides, Resolved to restore the R.D. he had forfeited by his irregular leaving ye North and fixing himself in Connaught.

RAMOAN.
The first minister of this congregation was Mr. Daniel
M'Neill. He was here in 1646, but was irregular in his
conduct towards the Presbytery. At the Restoration he
conformed, and was admitted vicar of Ramoan on the 12th
of September, 1661, For a considerable time afterwards we
hear of no minister in this district. At length, in 1700, Mr.
Thomas Elder was ordained. He died in 1703. The next
minister here was Mr. John Mairs, who was ordained by the
Presbytery of Route May 24th, 1704. He died in this
charge June 25th, 1723. The next minister was Mr. Samuel
Dunlop, who had been minister at Athlone, and was settled
here early in 1724. This charge he demitted in 1733, when
he removed to Connaught.

I have now found Rev Jackson in a registered deed dated 1733 address Armagh, parish of Balla, Barony of Carra, Co of Mayo.
Anyone familiar with that?
