To me - and I can't read german but have muddled through quite a few German records - it looks like the first column is the name, the second column is what we'd know as ditto, the third column is probably birth and baptism dates and the fourth column the father with his occupation before the name.
So the top entry in the 4th column is Zimmerman Heinr[ich] Schlieckert.  I'm pretty sure Zimmerman is carpenter in German.
Sorry, but I have no idea on Harry Schmidt's father Louis Schmidt's occupation ::)
Hope this is of some help,
Marlene

Yes Marlene is right.

These are confirmation records. 1897-1898

first column: Name: Harry Schmidt

second column: place of birth: Waren.
(registry number 57 on that page is Waren. all entries after that are marked ditto)

third column: birth 6.5.1883 and baptism  25.5.1883 (get is the abbreiviation for getauft=baptized)

fourth column: father: Photograf Louis Schmidt

Hi,

Google translator is undoubtedly getting better but it still makes some horrendous boo-boos. For individual words, it's not bad, but if you want a sensible translation of a piece of text, please feel free to keep asking here. We look forward to this kind of thing!  ;D

Best regards,
Karen

Hi Karen,
Thanks for your reply -- have a number of German records to translate and hesitated to send for fear of over doing my welcome.
Will offer some more records soon for translation.
Kind regards

HI davecapps,
Am I on the right track? My search for Wanda Schroder/Philipp Schmidt came from a source on the site Geneanet.  Cannot find a marriage of Wabda/Philipp.  Now looking at a Harri Heinrich August Albert Schmidt born 6 August 1914, his Father Harry and ,Grand Father Luis Siegrfried Schmidt.  (see attached.)
Must learn the correct lineage, as I like to be right.
Kind regardsclancam37

I found the baptism record confirming your details, born 6.8.1914. Father Harry Friedrich Rudolf Schmidt, mother Martha Gebert

https://search.ancestry.de/cgi-bin/sse.dll?indiv=1&dbid=1627&h=1630562&tid=&pid=&usePUB=true&_phsrc=FxC27&_phstart=successSource
---------------------------
but in the census from 1919 there is no mention of him, only:
Harry Friedrich Rudolf Schmidt, born 6.5.1883
Martha Schmidt, born 20.8.1887
August Schoeneberg, lodger

Here´s the marriage certificate from Harry Schmidt (father Louis Schmidt) and Martha Gebert (father Heinrich Gebert) 20.10.1911

Hullo Dave,
Umfortumately I am unable to open the two Ancestry messages -- have to log in to Ancestry.
THanks for your efforts on my behalf.
