I have now narrowed down the last location of where James and Rebecca might have lived.
James Kirk's property was east of Berwick PO North Stormont Township.
You can see both James and Berwick in this attached screen shot 2493.

There seems to be a lot of local cemeteries in the area, albeit perhaps not so near, that may well have unrecorded online deceased.

I think at the end of the day, this is going to require boots on the ground.

To view the whole screen shot, you have to click on it.
J Kirk is on the far right hand side, just down from the top, in the blue area.

Some success.

Turns out James Kirk died in Jasper, Umatilla, Oregon on 13th February 1898.
I have found two obituaries for him, but am still searching for his grave in Oregon.
His funeral service was carried in Helix, Umatilla, Oregon.
However I still cannot find his grave.

Rebecca Robinson his wife died in 1886, four years later James joined his sons to move to Oregon, USA.

The death registration for Rebecca Robinson, the attending doctor was her brother in-law Dr George Kirke..... George was also listed as the informant.

So I am still looking for a Rebecca (nee Robinson) Kirk grave, in the North Stormont area.
