Hi there My name is Napapon
Since I first started using Rootschat I have had the same problem and it is driving me ----.
I enable "notifications" on all the county boards that I'm interested in but over a few weeks they all seem to disable themselves without any help from me, so I have to go in and manually disable and enable again, ie I have just done this in the last 10 minutes.
It isn't caused by me not going into the messages as I go into every one that I'm made aware of by email nor is it because new messages haven't been added to the appropriate board.
I do hope sks can help me.
Regards

I always thought that you only get notifications on posts that you have started or replied to when someone else posts something. You only appear to have made 2 posts on here and your other post has not had any response.
I am sure someone will correct me if I am wrong :)

You can click on Notify at the top of each board, Rosie. I've never done that though.

Thank you Gadget. :)
I wonder what the point of that is, we would be getting notifications 24/7 if we did that ;D I don't request notifications for anything I already get too many emails

I generally use the blue "Notify" button to watch any topics that I am interested in following and equally click on the "Un-notify" button if I no longer wish to follow it.
If you reply to a topic it will automatically notify you of replies unless like Rosie you go into your profile settings and turn them off.
Your other topic has two new replies

You will be automatically sent a notification for the first reply, but if you do not visit RootsChat to read the reply you may not be sent further notification on that topic. (This is a standard setting option) I have just changed yours to instantly but this can be changed to one email a day or week etc through the email options in your profile.

As of 20.25 napapon is only showing one post under their name, but has posted twice. How?

This post has been posted in the wrong section (please do not post here) so do not count, I am planning on moving it to the technical board once they have returned and read the comments.

Ah, thanks.
Forgot about posts that do not count. Interesting concept.
