Hi all.
I am wondering if anyone out there might have a recording of the Reality Television Series that was filmed in the Hawkesbury area in 2005. Called "The Colony" it was shown on SBS.
There is a more recent series of the same name but not the one I am after.
The one I am after 'recreated' the experience of the first settlers on Hawkesbury.
I would be happy to hear back from anyone who knows where I could find it. Katharine.

That's for something made in 2015, and runs for 57 minutes and it is not set in the Hawkesbury district of New South Wales, Australia.

Thanks. I will have to call them.
I was hoping that someone had a home recorded copy even, or purchased a DVD if it was ever released. I've already checked libraries in my state. Trove says there are a few copies, but they don't appear on the online catalogue when you go to the actual library.

I remember watching this years ago - it was a bit of an eye opener.
One of the "actors" sadly committed suicide not long after taking part in this, unrelated to the experience apparently, though I remember at the time it was said that appearing in the series was a contributing factor.
I quite enjoyed this as well:

(fairly gritty)

there are a couple of copies for sale on EBay, a bit expensive, but if you really want a copy it might be worth considering,
Maybe you could drop a few hints, "Easter is coming rather than lots of eggs a dvd would be nice"
