Hi there. For the life of me I cannot find George Yeoman passed the 1901 census.
He was born Sept 1884, Totnes, Devon to Mother Emma Richards (nee Mauger but spelt Magor or similar in some cases). Emma had George 2 years before she married the father, also called George Yeoman. (He has a brother Maurice John).
In the 1901 Census in Totnes, my George is a Printers Apprentice. By 1911 he disappears. I can't find death, marriage or military for him. I wonder if someone else might have any luck or point me in the right direction?

Have you looked under a surname other than Yeoman?
He was registered as with the Richards surname, why shouldn't he be using that?

Hi Val, have you seen the tree on FamilySearch that has George Yeoman RICHARDS marrying Florence ROSE and having three children? This records him as dying in 1963.

I think that's the same George Yeoman RICHARDS who's in the FamilySearch family tree (died 1963 in Aus). Children Theodore, Lionel and Gladys.
If the 1911 entry is correct, and Florence was his wife, there's also an entry for George and Florence YEOMANS and children in the 1930 US census, although children's names are different to those in Aus.
Looks like Aus perhaps?

Wow, thank you. I admit I didn't think to look under Richards as his father was Yeoman and his mother and he did marry about 18months/2 years later. Mother's name as Majour pretty much like Mauger.....I will investigate and look at the links you've sent.

Oh my goodness, I've just found the 1911 census for him. He is a printers compositer and living with Florence!

In 1954 George and Margery are living at 32 Murphy Street, South Yarra, Victoria. George's occupation - Clerk.
The 1963 Electoral Register has George and Margery at the same address as above with George's occupation - Clerk.
