I would say 1870s....I would say that she is unmarried as she is hiding her ring finger.

Could this photo be reversed by any chance?  It would appear she has a ring on what looks to be her other hand.  Also you can just see her ring finger - if the photo is right way around.

  I noticed that my version came out as too light when posted it on Rootschat ???

         So I've darkened it slightly and I'm re-posting it. Not much difference though :D
