Sorry I don't have Ancestry so I can't actually help, BUT....
why do you need it there, when you have it elsewhere??  :-\

No, I am not getting any perfect matches to that census reference in 1851 (Wales) on Ancestry.

Presumably they have a subscription to Ancestry and not Findmypast?

I'm not having any luck on Ancestry either, and have searched via the piece/folio/page numbers and via the other members of the household as well. If you don't have an Ancestry subscription, I suggest checking if your local library has access to Findmypast. Or waiting for one of their free weekends.

This might be one possibility, it is transcribed Thomas and it might be but it is not a good copy. If you post the parents names it might help.

Thomas Jones abt 1842 Son
Isaac, Ann

Trevethin, Monmouthshire, Wales

Look for Henry Fouke, 16 - your people are on the next page.

Sorry, they should be but they are not.  Look at the schedule numbers (far left column) - there is a gap.

Henry Fouke’s page has schedules 167-169.  The page which follows on Ancestry has schedules 173-175.

Your people are on the missing page containing schedules 170-172.

Thank you.....so glad I’m not going crazy  :)

I have a subscription to both but wanted to save the census to my tree on Ancestry, will have to just add the information without it....

Is it even worth reporting to Ancestry that these pages are missing?

It seems strange that they are available on other sites but missed on Ancestry.

Thank you all for looking  :) :) :)

BIB - Yes it is absolutely worth reporting it. OK it will not help you immediately but it will help others in the future as they will eventually correct it. This is by no means a rare occurrence there was a instance last week that was discussed on here, so please do report it.

@jomcd967

Hi

What I did in a similar situation is pull up the census page where the break in the records start. (The details page not the actual image).

Then click on the report issue on the left hand side of the screen.
Then from the drop down menu select the appropriate option, I would suggest "Inaccurate information"
Then fill in the boxes as appropriate giving as much detail as possible*

*You already have the information to enter as it was given in reply #6 above and by starting on the page before the break it makes it easy for the Ancestry person to find it as they will have it from the link that goes with your report of the problem.

Hope that helps

David
